For today's post I get to combine three of my favourite foodie things; Madame Hanoi, High Tea and Gin! As part of my mission to eat my way through pretty much everything Adelaide Casino's Madame Hanoi has to offer, I was set the very exciting task of sampling the Hanoi Hendrick's High Tea (tough life right!?).

The Hanoi Hendrick's High Tea follows the general high tea formula of a mix of sweet and savoury finger food but gives them a Vietnamese / French Fusion mix-up as only Nic Watt knows how. So no, at this high tea you won't find any finger sandwiches, mini scones or sausage rolls - what you will find, are amazing, bite-sized dishes that will make your taste buds sing! Scroll through the gallery below to see what is on offer:

Tier 1

Assorted french macaron, mini chocolate ganache & Vietnamese coffee mouse ones and lemon curd jelly with meringue & raspberry.

Tier 2

Soft shell crab squid ink brioche spider sliders and crispy noodle confit duck, watermelon and duck liver pate

Tier 3

Seared tuna with nam jim, asian slaw & sesame noodle crisps and masterstock braised chicken Bao with mango, yuzu koshu mayo, picked banana blossoms & chilli

With a gorgeous, melting-pot of flavours you need something to cleanse the palate, and this is exactly where Hendrick's Gin comes into play. Every Hanoi High Tea comes with a pot of Hendricks Gin Tea: Hendrick's Gin, Oolong Tea, rose petals & cucumber. Let me tell you this, it may sound a bit strange, but man, it was refreshing AF! It also acts as the perfect palate cleanser between tiers, so that you can enjoy every piece of food to its fullest.

I enjoyed every single bit of this experience, there's something so refreshing about a cultural twist on a classic. So, if you're looking for a place to go with the girls or your family and feel like you need to shake things up a little bit, Madame Hanoi's Hanoi Hendrick's High Tea is totally for you!
